Frequently Asked Questions

Does Gallop replace my health care provider?

The short answer is no. Here at Gallop, our main aim is to equip you. It's to equip you with an understanding of how your body works, what may be causing your symptoms, how your symptoms may even be connected, and what you can do about it so that when you walk into your doctor's office, you feel like you're really in a partnership to try to achieve greater wellness and health so that you can walk into your doctor's office and know what questions to ask, what tests may best be suited for you, and what supplements or medical pharmaceuticals or medical procedures may be right for what's going on with you, so that you can reap the greatest benefits from those appointments with the aim of working towards achieving greater health.

Is Gallop compatible with regular medicine?

You may be wondering if the Gallop approach is compatible with regular medicine. The short answer is yes. It is very compatible, and it's actually often a good idea.

Integrative medicine has been around since the 1990s. The concept is really simple. The more tools you have in your toolkit, the better you'll be able to serve the patient in front of you.

Whether we want to pull from lifestyle factors, functional medicine, acupuncture, pharmaceutical meds, naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, meditation, psychotherapy, the list goes on. When we have the ability to pull on those different tools, then we have a greater ability to understand what may be going on with the individual in front of us, what may be driving their health concerns, and how can we best help them. The Gallop approach to integrated medicine is a really great way to go, and we can do that with our conventional medical model, with the aim to help you benefit and enjoy greater wellness on all levels, mind, body, and spirit.

Can Gallop help me find a practitioner that I can work with?

Yes, but maybe not in the way that you're thinking about. While you may listen to the information we provide and think that you want to see the practitioner whose, you know, video or webinar you just engaged with, that might be possible. But it also might not be, because we're often pulling from some of the people who we think are the best and brightest. Sometimes those people may not be taking new patients, or they may be practicing in a different jurisdiction and aren't able to see patients from where you're located.

Gallop is all about accessibility. Our hope is that you deepen your understanding of what's out there, what solutions that are available, and also become more informed about what kind of questions to ask a practitioner. Not just in the visits once you're engaged, but when you're interviewing practitioners and determining the right practitioner for you. Listen to the material from our experts and tune into what really resonates. Hear what that practitioner is saying. These points become very important assets and resources for you to then take to a meeting with a practitioner to determine if they meet your needs.

How is Gallop different from other solutions or platforms?

There's a great quote by Einstein that says, if he had a really difficult problem to solve, it was really complex and he only had an hour to solve it, he would spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and leave five minutes to think about the solution. It speaks to the nature of what is different about Gallop from other platforms and solutions and services out there.

Most of the things that you have probably encountered to date, especially online, are people and companies that have built a particular solution and then they spent their time convincing you why their solution matches your problem and your needs.

Gallop is quite different.

We're here to talk about the problem, to help you better understand the problem and give you information that empowers you to you recognize the connections in your body, in your mind, in your lifestyle, and the things you're doing.

How is a holistic approach different from "conventional" medicine?

Gallop delivers holistic health explanations and holistic wellness solutions. What does that even mean anyway?

When you look at the body from a holistic perspective, you're taking into consideration all the different body parts, all the different body systems, where the person is coming from, where their family's coming from, their lifestyle factors to understand what may be going on in a holistic health model.

The understanding is that our different body parts are interconnected, and so very often our different symptoms are actually interconnected.

How much does Gallop cost?

That all depends on how you choose to engage.

One of our major values is to see information disseminated so that naturopathic holistic approach to medicine can be more attainable and more accessible. We believe it should not just be a privilege of the wealthy to be able to tap into this kind of approach to medicine.

We have a lot of free resources get on your way to living a more holistically integrated and healthy life: videos, handouts, checklists.

Of course, we do have to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. For some of the materials and services, we do have charges for these and you can purchase them in an a-la-carte fashion.
